Stardust

Alvin and his brothers Simon and Theodore are back! This time, they’re back and need to attend school everyday like any normal kid does. They instantly became everyone’s favorite except for the jocks who hate them for stealing the girls’ attention from them.

On the other hand, the chipmunks’ former manager, Ian, now manages the new female singing group sensation called the ‘Chipettes’ composed of Brittany, Jeanette and Eleanor. Ian, upon learning that there will be an Inter school talent competition and the school is eyeing Alvin and he Chipmunks to be the school’s representative,  enrolled the Chipettes to compete against their long-time crushes Alvin, Simon and Theodore.

Aside from the conflict between the two groups. Tension among the three brothers also builds up especially when Alvin decided to hang out with the school jocks.

Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel is a very nice film and a must watch especially for kids. Love the songs, especially the ones performed and sung by the Chipettes. However, I somehow feel that the chipettes has less exposure, or was it just me? I mean, I want them to have more performances ala Beyonce. They’re so cute! ^_^

Also, the competition between the Chipmunks and the Chipettes was not very well established. They could have prolong the competition even more so it would be more exciting on the part of the viewers.
