This Is It

1018446272I must admit that I’m not a Michael Jackson fan but I also do admit that he’s definitely one of the best artists that was ever born in this planet. His music is something that could touch almost everybody’s heart and leave one pondering on every word that he utters and melody that he hums. I love his songs, especially Man in the Mirror, but like what I just said, I ain’t that fanatic that’s why I was not very affected by his sudden demise.

Nonetheless, I salute MJ for his wonderful music, such a great artist with a sad life. He’s a BIG LOSS in the music industry and yes, exaggerated as it may sound, humanity.

Two months after the King of Pop’s death, his supposed to be comeback concert dubbed “THIS IS IT” was finally shown in the big screen and I was one of the lucky few who was able to watch it on its very first day in the cinema.

Two things that I can conclude about this docu-film,  MICHAEL JACKSON, despite his age at 50, is still definitely a TOTAL PERFORMER. He didn’t lose his touch at all. And since the recorded performance of his practices are just for MJ’s consumption only and not intended for public vieiwing at first, you could really see how Michael Jackson works and how dedicated and hands on he is whenever he practice for his performances. MJ was sickeningly NICE! I know this is not scripted, his expressions, reactions and every word he says is spontaneous. Boy,does he ever get angry at all? The way he always says “Thank you” and “God Bless” for being applauded by his dancers and to the staff and crew for delivering awesome performances are just few things that would make someone realize if all the accusations against MJ is true at all.

This Is It

But then, this is not the issue here anymore, it’s just actually one thing that I noticed in the film that I want to share.

And to all MJ fanatics out there, THIS IS IT is really something that you wouldn’t want to miss. This documentary would give thoughts of “what might have beens.” What if MJ did not die…what if the concert pursued…” From the practices done by MJ and his staff, I must say that this supposed to be come back concert of Michael is really something worth watching for. Superb production and choreography!

TWO THUMBS UP
and 5 STARS to “THIS IS IT”, Michael Jackson and his staff and crew.
